CCTV Inspection
A CCTV drain inspection is a non-invasive way to assess the condition of your drains using a high-definition camera. This advanced technology allows us to locate blockages, cracks, tree root intrusions, and other hidden issues without the need for digging.
You may need a CCTV inspection if you’re experiencing recurring drain blockages, slow drainage or suspect damage in your pipes. It also may be needed when building or subdividing, and is highly recommended before purchasing a property to avoid unexpected drainage issues down the line.
Benefits of CCTV Inspections
✔ Pinpoint Accuracy – Identifies the exact location and cause of blockages or damage.
✔ Prevents Major Issues – Detects problems early, helping to avoid costly repairs.
✔ No Guesswork – Eliminates unnecessary digging or trial-and-error solutions.
✔ Saves Time & Money – A quick and efficient way to diagnose drainage problems.
✔ Ideal for Pre-Purchase Inspections – Ensures the drainage system is in good condition before you buy.
Our Process
Initial Assessment
We start by discussing any drainage issues you’ve noticed, such as slow draining water, foul smells, or recurring blockages. We then locate external access points, such as inspection ports or manholes, to determine the best entry point for the camera.
We'll clear out any debris to ensure there is clear access for the camera.
Camera Inspection
Using a high-resolution, waterproof camera attached to a flexible cable, we navigate through your pipes to capture real-time footage. The camera provides a clear, inside view of your drainage system, revealing any blockages, cracks, misalignments, or tree root intrusions
Diagnosis & Report
After the inspection, we carefully review the footage to identify any issues affecting your drainage system. We provide a detailed breakdown of our findings, along with images or video clips if necessary, so you can see exactly what’s happening inside your pipes.
Recommendations
Based on the results, we’ll advise you on the best course of action. If a blockage is found, we may recommend high-pressure drain clearing. If there’s structural damage, we’ll discuss repair options to restore proper drainage. If no major issues are detected, you’ll have peace of mind knowing your drains are in good condition.
